No matter how well the IT infrastructure in your company is designed, you cannot avoid the basic truth that people still play a major role within your organisation.
Every single time the computer system is upgraded – whether it’s a small change to make customer ordering easier or the installation of a whole new system – it’s necessary to follow this by letting all the relevant staff members know of the changes that have been made.
How this process is done can make a big difference to how successfully your staff cope with the changes. Given the basic truth that many people do not like the idea of change, it’s a good idea to give your staff adequate notice of any forthcoming work on the computer system – as much as is humanly possible under the circumstances.
Not only will this give them time to prepare mentally, it will also ensure they have enough time to put in place any other measures or contingency plans that may be necessary to allow business to continue as normal while the IT work is carried out.
But training isn’t just required in times of change. IT training should be a regular part of life at any company if maximum efficiency is to be achieved.
Terms such as multi-tasking and multi-skilled are becoming a part of more and more workplaces, and with downsizing being another area of concern in many companies it is necessary and advisable to make sure that as many staff members as possible are trained to perform the roles of their colleagues. Not only does this lead to a better all round service for the client or customer, but it also lends a greater appreciation for all roles within the company.
The level of IT knowledge required by any single staff member will depend on their job role. Some people will naturally acquire more knowledge in addition to this, while others will be hesitant to learn anything new – even if it would benefit them in their day to day work.
To this end, regular and more informal advice and assistance on improving computer skills would be beneficial to most companies, giving people the opportunity to increase their knowledge without any pressure. Combined with more formal training sessions whenever required to inform and educate the staff about new updates to the IT system this can be an encouraging combination.
In an ideal world every employee would know what skills they are lacking when it comes to using computers in a working environment. But in reality things are not so simple.
That is why it’s advisable to monitor the performance of each employee periodically, so that additional training can be offered when it is deemed necessary.

How to watch TV on Mac
by: Jerry Bridgestone
Mac or Macintosh is a brand name for different kinds of computer produced by Apple, Inc. Production of Mac includes all aspects of hardware and own operating system already installed. The Mac is a computer that can run all the major operating systems, including Mac OS X, Windows XP, and Vista.
TV on a PC is in nowadays. How about TV on a Mac?
Widgets are mini-applications that are downloaded and installed to a dashboard for a new function. There are amazing widgets for Mac that will allow us to play TV right on our Mac. There is this viewmy.tv widget that provides access to free Internet television. Besides viewmy.tv, there is also the Ustream.tv for viewing our favorite live stream channels. Before we can download these features, we should first check the system requirements. If we have what are needed to make this application works, we can enjoy watching our favorite shows directly on our Mac.
As we all know, we can’t depend on our Internet connection all the time. Heavy traffic is frequently experienced so we can’t enjoy our favorite show that much. It’s different when we don’t need to download and consume time to have our full view of the channels. But we can have our Macs installed with TV. Aside from widgets, we can enjoy the entertainment of watching TV on our Mac with the help of USB-based tuners like Elgato EyeTV Hybrid that allows us to watch analog and digital TV. Like other common pc, Mac also has its way to have TV on it.
If external devices (USB like EyeTV) do not satisfy us, we can use the PCTV cards like Miglia AlchemyTV Card that is a good choice for computer TV viewing and VHS-to-DVD transferring. It’s a PCI card that requires no additional power supply. We can check miglia.com to check if we have the latest version. After that, set up the PCI card in our Mac, and then install the software using the cd included. To access the newly installed program, we need to restart our Macs and go to the AlchemyTV dialog.
Miglia also offers a TV Micro unit that comes with the unit itself, a cable as connection, an external USB 2.0 extender, a remote control and an Elgato EyeTV 2.
Slingbox is also a good choice. It works not only for common PC but for Macs as well. It has ports for TV input and for Ethernet. Another one is the iTele, which is a Mac application that allows us to watch TV and record a channel we want.
When we are familiar of iTunes, we’ll know Mac. We can go to the iTunes Store to browse different shows and channels. We can have our favorite shows in advance. We can watch an episode before it will be aired or have a copy of the one we missed. We can watch all of this in Mac.These are only some of the ways on how we can have TV on our Macs. More are coming our way, thanks to the advanced technology.

PCI DSS and Tape Security
by: Martin Pladgeman
PCI DSS
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) was created as a set of requirements for companies that process, store, or transfer credit card data to make it easier on merchants to adopt sufficient security approved by all credit card companies.
The PCI Security Standards Council develops and maintains the standard. Enforcement of the compliance programs and penalties are established by each individual payment brand.
When evaluating solutions for PCI compliance companies should consult auditors and look for products that offer complete PCI coverage to foresee changes in the standards.
PCI also contains ongoing validation requirements. The most comprehensive requirements include three levels of validation:
1. On-site security audit
2. Self-assessment questionnaire
3. Network scan
The level of validation required, and the frequency of validation efforts, depends upon risk and transaction or account volume.
The Real Cost of a Data Security Breach
Data security breach can cost a company an average of $182 per compromised record in legal fees and other expenses. That’s not including the cost of a damaged reputation, competitive advantage and customers lost due to the breach, and the cost for a lawsuit if charges are pressed. Merchants that store cardholder data also have to worry about the potential fine for non-compliance and the threat of increased fees for transactions.
Here are a few examples of recent major breaches in the retail industry.
TJX
45.6 million credit and debit card numbers were stolen.
DSW Shoe Warehouse
Compromised credit card numbers for about 1.4 million customers and driver’s license information of about 96,000 customers.
Card Systems
Compromised information for 40 million credit card holders.
Marriot International
Compromised credit card information and Social Security numbers of 206, 000 customers and employees.
Polo Ralph Lauren
Compromised 180,000 customer’s credit card information.
Sam’s Club/Wal-Mart
Credit card data belonging to an unspecified number of customers were exposed.
PCI Requirements becoming laws
In May 2007 Minnesota became the first state to make PCI requirements into a state law stating that any company that experiences a data security breach will have to reimburse banks the costs that they incurred blocking and issuing new cards.
12 Steps for PCI Compliance
Below is a list of the 12 requirements of the PCI DSS.
1. Install and maintain a firewall configuration to protect cardholder data.
2. Do not use vendor-supplied defaults for system passwords and other security parameters.
3. Protect stored cardholder data.
4. Encrypt transmission of cardholder data across open, public networks
5. Use and regularly update anti-virus software
6. Develop and maintain secure systems and applications
7. Restrict access to cardholder data by business need-to-know
8. Assign a unique ID to each person with computer access
9. Restrict physical access to cardholder data
10. Track and monitor all access to network resources and cardholder data
11. Regularly test security systems and processes
12. Maintain a policy that addresses information security
Merchant and Service Provider Levels and Compliance
Merchant Level Compliance
1. Level 1: Merchants with more than 6 million credit card transactions annually cross all channels, including e-commerce.
Compliance: Annual onsite PCI data security assessment and quarterly network scans.
2. Level 2: Merchant with between 1 and 6 million credit card transactions annually
Compliance: Annual self-assessment and quarterly network scans
3. Level 3: Merchants with between 20,000 and 1,000,000 credit card e-commerce transactions annually.
Compliance: Same as Level 2 Merchants
4. Level 4: Merchants with fewer than 20,000 credit card e-commerce transactions annually Annual self-assessment and annual

Deadlines/Penalties
The deadline for PCI Compliance has passed. Visa estimates that just 36 percent of Level 1 merchants and 15 percent of Level 2 merchants have complied with PCI.
Effective October 1, 2007, acquirers whose transactions qualify for lower interchange rates must ensure that the merchants generating the transactions are PCI compliant in order to receive this benefit.
In 2006, Visa levied $4.6 million in fines for companies not compliant, up from a 2005 total of $3.4 million. Source: VISA [http://usa.visa.com/about_visa/press_resources/news/press_releases/nr367.html]
A closer look at protecting stored data
Just one compromised backup tape can cost a company their reputation, competitive advantage, and thousands in fines. There’s the cost to notify customers, answer the many calls that are received regarding how and why this breach happened, the cost for loss business as a result of the breach, and so on.
BOSaNOVA’s Q3 storage encryption appliance hardware is one option for securing your backup data.

A History Into Microsoft Products
by: Mehmet Onatli
Microsoft Windows is the name of several families of software operating systems by Microsoft. Microsoft first introduced an operating environment named Windows in November 1985 as an add-on to MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces (GUIs). The most recent client version of Windows is Windows Vista. The current server version of Windows is Windows Server 2008.
Windows 1.0 (1985)
The first version of Windows provided a new software environment for developing and running applications that use bitmap displays and mouse pointing devices. Before Windows, PC users relied on the MS-DOS® method of typing commands at the C prompt (C:\). With Windows, users moved a mouse to point and click their way through tasks, such as starting applications.
In addition, Windows users could switch among several concurrently running applications. The product included a set of desktop applications, including the MS-DOS file management program, a calendar, card file, notepad, calculator, clock, and telecommunications programs, which helped users, manage day-to-day activities.
Windows 2.0 (1987)
Windows 2.0 took advantage of the improved processing speed of the Intel 286 processor, expanded memory, and inter-application communication capabilities made possible through Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). With improved graphics support, users could now overlap windows, control screen layout, and use keyboard combinations to move rapidly through Windows operations. Many developers wrote their first Windows–based applications for this release.
Windows 3.0 (1990)
The third major release of the Windows platform from Microsoft offered improved performance, advanced graphics with 16 colors, and full support of the more powerful Intel 386 processor. A new wave of 386 PCs helped drive the popularity of Windows 3.0, which offered a wide range of useful features and capabilities, including:
Program Manager, File Manager, and Print Manager.
A completely rewritten application development environment.
An improved set of Windows icons.
Windows NT 3.1 (1993)

Game Development - Story Bible Example
by: Sebastian Gross
The bible deals exclusively with story and its elements. While the design document guides the creation of the entire gaming experience, the bible controls the game’s interactive screenplay.
Log Line
Let’s say we’re working on a game titled “Hangnail,” the latest game inspired by Quake. Hangnail’s bible would include a “treatment” or synopsis of the game’s story. That treatment should include one- or two-sentence reviews of the story’s beginning, middle, and end. In some cases, the treatment could go into greater detail, stretching from one page to 20 or more, if the designer or game writer chose to really flesh out the story in the design stage. If the game’s narrative is truly based on cinematic story construction, the story might include first, second, and third act reviews. Leave those bits to your writer—we waste hours worrying about that act-structure nonsense. At the very least, the synopsis should include a “log line,” or a brief review of the game’s story, like this:
Hangnail:
Synopsis: A big, tough guy with heaps of muscles and a heart of gold walks through mazes and kills lots of stuff to battle evil, find his boxed lunch, and save the future of humanity…at least until the sequel comes out.
Characters
The second portion of the bible would include character reviews. The most important component of any effective narrative, whether it’s in a game, a movie, a TV show, or a novel, is good characters. They should have well-rounded histories and solid motivations. Most importantly, they should be clearly drawn out so anyone who reads the bible or works on the game sees the same person in their minds. If a writer or designer creates a game revolving around a Schwarzenegger-type action hero and fail to describe his all-American, psychopathic personality, the artist or renderer could end up drawing Marv Albert. Here’s what our character bible would say about Hangnail’s protagonist:
Character Name: Dirk Squarejaw
Age: Late 20s
Appearance: Ruggedly handsome and in the kind of impossibly good shape that you’d need to spend 25 hours a day in a gym to achieve.
Equipment: Death Ray of Death, Grenade of Severe Owies, Swiss Army Knife of Animosity, Pulse Cannon of Mild Mood Swings.
Attributes: Wonderfully and relentlessly violent. With an overdeveloped sense of honor. Dedicated to saving all life on Earth, or at least all attractive women on Earth. He enjoys painting in splattered blood, rainy days, long walks on the beach, thermonuclear devices, and backgammon.
Background: Orphaned at birth and raised by wolves, Dirk was rescued by nuns at the age of 4. The nuns instilled in the young Dirk his sense of honor and his bizarre obsession with backgammon. When the evil villain, General Payne, destroyed the nuns’ village to hijack all their dice, Dirk set out on his lifelong quest to end evil around the world. He will never rest until Payne is defeated, peace and justice restored, and double sixes rolled everywhere.
All the information in the character description above could be distilled into one long paragraph entry, if the designer chooses to limit the length or the scope of the bible. However, every character in the game (even supporting players) should be presented in this same detail.
Such enriching character sketches can provide inspiration when planning game maps or missions (depending on the game’s genre). For example, in Hangnail’s case, given Dirk’s devotion to backgammon, the designer could construct a maze or a level in which the objective is to slaughter all of General’s Payne’s agents to recover their ill-gotten dice.
Character description and background is one area where a story bible can really enrich an interactive game. If the bible can draw out a game’s central character with convincing depth and detail, the production can present an interesting and exciting person around which you can build a game and story.
In some cases, the player becomes that character. In other games, the player merely guides an already existing character. In either case, the story bible can outline what the main characters wants! That’s the key. The entire game story should be built around what the main character or hero wants and needs. Once that is pinpointed (be it the damsel in distress, a magic amulet, or the enemy capital), a designer can build an entire game around that quest. Battles in the cold reaches of space. Races through monster-filled mazes. Puzzle-solving through a haunted library. Anything that makes the game more entertaining can stand between the hero and the goal. But, the goal must be clear, ever-present, and motivated. The story bible can help a design team do that.
In another example, if Dirk was scared of water because his wolf parents couldn’t swim, the designer might wish to create an underwater level and cause Dirk’s air supply to disappear quickly because he hyperventilates too easily.
Using a methodology like this, in which you define the background, attributes, age, appearance, and equipment of a character, can help ensure truly motivated and enjoyable characters and gives the design team ideas for gameplay. A game’s characters need to be compelling. If the player becomes a hero in the game, that hero must be attractive enough that the player wants to assume that persona. A game villain should be rotten enough that the player generates genuine passion and satisfaction from defeating him or her.
An essential rule of thumb states that every character, even the most incredibly butch of heroes, needs to have weaknesses or shortcomings. If a character seems too omnipotent and has every skill imaginable down pat, no player will believe he or she could possibly lose or die. You don’t have to make your hero or heroine a simpering wimp, but don’t make them invulnerable. Even Superman has his kryptonite.
In the final document, Dirk’s bible entry might include an artist’s sketch (if created early in the game development process) or a 3D rendering (if created farther along in the development process) which might also be the actual avatar used in the game if the product makes it that far along.
To digress for just a moment, I have approached the use of game bibles for story development solely from the perspective of the hero thus far. Lately, games such as Bullfrog’s Dungeon Keeper and LucasArts’ Dark Forces II have made it possible for players to assume the role of the villain. However, that doesn’t turn the narrative rule on its ear—the same guidelines still apply. A villain also has wants and needs. In the best possible scenario, the bad guy wants exactly the same thing as the hero. In drama and writing courses, that’s called the “Law of Conflicting Need.” A good story (and therefore a good game, if it has story components) has a protagonist and an antagonist wanting the same thing for perfectly opposite reasons. We usually want the hero to get to that goal before the villain. However, in games where we become the villain, we assume the motivations of the villain. The bible should outline the history, personality, and motivation of the bad guy as well as the hero. That way, if we become the antagonist in gameplay, it works just as well if we had chosen the hero’s role.

Cisco And CompTIA Practice Questions: Etherchannels, The OSI Model, And More!
by: Chris Bryant, CCIE #12933
Here are some questions on static routing, the OSI model, IP version 6, and other topics to help prepare you for CCNA, CCENT, and CCNP certification exam success! Network+ candidates, I didn’t leave you out!
CCNA Certification:
What character or combination of characters indicates a statically configured default route?
Answer: An "S*" next to a route indicates that it is a default static route. If there were no asterisk, the route type indicated would be a static route – but not a default static route.
CCENT Certification / Network+ Certification Question:
Which one of the following networking terms is not associated with the same OSI layer as the others?
A. router
B. packet
C. TCP
D. IP
Answer: C. TCP runs at the Transport layer of the OSI model. The other three terms are associated with the Network layer. The Network layer is sometimes referred to as the “routing layer”.
CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:
If an IPv6 address begins with "FF", what kind of address is it?
A. broadcast
B. unicast
C. anycast
D. multicast
Answer: D. Any IPv6 address beginning with "FF" is a multicast. IPv6 does not use broadcasts.
CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:
You've configured an Etherchannel and note that the trunk has gone down. You check the interfaces on one switch and note that two are "err-disabled". The corresponding ports on the other switch are not. What should you do?
A. Nothing - that's the normal and desired behavior.
B. Shut and reopen the err-disabled interfaces.
C. Shut and reopen the non-err-disabled interfaces.
D. Use the err-abled command on the err-disabled interfaces.
Answer: B. After finishing the config, shut and reopen the err-disabled interfaces. If the configuration is correct, that will do the trick. This is common when you configure all of the ports on one switch and then start configuring the other switch, rather than going back and forth between the appropriate ports on the switches.

Cisco CCNA, CCENT, And CCNP Home Lab Study: The DTE/DCE Cable
by: Chris Bryant, CCIE #12933
More Cisco CCNA, CCENT, and CCNP candidates than ever before are putting together their own home labs for their certification exam study, and that's a great trend - there's nothing like learning on the real thing!
Part of putting a home lab together is getting the right cables and understanding their usage. In this new Cisco home lab series, we'll take a look at the different cable types and how each fits into your home lab. The first cable type we'll look at is the multi-purpose DTE/DCE cable.
When I say "multi-purpose", I mean that while the cable will always perform the same task, it can be used in several different points in your home lab network. If you're going to have a frame relay switch - and you should get one if at all possible, since having your own frame relay cloud is a tremendous boost to your home lab studies and your exam score - you're going to need a DTE/DCE cable.
You can also use a DTE/DCE cable to directly connect two Cisco router serial interfaces and configure HDLC (the default) or PPP encapsulation over that point-to-point link.
Most of today's DTE/DCE cables have "DTE" clearly stamped on one end of the cable - actually, "DTE" is probably embedded into the connector itself. Naturally, the other end will have "DCE" clearly indicated. It's the DCE end that will connect to your frame relay switch. If you're going to use a direct connection to run PPP or HDLC, it almost doesn't matter which end of the cable is connected to a given router.
Keyword: "almost". You must use the clockrate command on the DCE end of the connection in order to bring the line protocol up.
If you're not sure which end of your DTE/DCE cable is connected to a given serial interface, just use the show controller serial command to get that information. Most of the output of that command isn't comprehensible, but what we need is right on top:
R3#show controller serial 1
HD unit 1, idb = 0x11B4DC, driver structure at 0x121868
buffer size 1524 HD unit 1, V.35 DCE cable
Naturally, if it's the DTE end, you'll see "DTE" there. And if you don't have anything connected to that interface, you'll see "no cable".
Whether you have your own frame relay switch or not, you'll want to pick up some DTE/DCE cables for direct connections between your Cisco home lab router's serial interfaces. Just don't forget to put the clockrate command on the DCE end of the cable! And if you're not familiar with a frame relay switch, check this same website soon for a tutorial that will show you how to set one up.
Just about any Cisco router can serve as a home lab frame relay switch, and once you've got it configured, you're in good shape - but it can be a little maddening to get it up and running in the first place. I'll show you how to avoid that aggravation in the next installment of this Cisco home lab tutorial series!

CCNA Certification:
The term used for an OSPF path metric is ____________ .
Extra credit: What formula does OSPF use to calculate that metric?
Answer: OSPF's metric is referred to as cost, and the calculation is 100,000,000 / interface speed in bps.
Cisco CCENT / CompTIA Network+ Question:
Which of the following do TCP and UDP headers have in common?
A. sequence number
B. source port
C. source IP address
D. window
E. destination port
F. destination IP address
G. ACK bit
H. reset bit
Answer: B, E. In addition to the source port and destination port numbers, the UDP and TCP headers also have a checksum field in common.
CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:
In ISIS, what is the most efficient point of a network at which to perform route summarization?
A. An L1 router.
B. An L2 router.
C. An L1/L2 router.
D. A DIS router.
Answer: C. L1/L2 routers are area boundary routers in ISIS, and this is the most efficient point at which to configure route summarization
CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:
Short answer: An HSRP router is the primary router and it has a priority of 100. Another router comes online in the same group and it has a priority of 107. Does the new router become the primary? If so, why? If not, what additional configuration is needed to make it the primary?
Answer. By default, the new router with the higher priority will not become the primary router. To allow a router with a higher priority to take over the role of HSRP primary from an existing and normally functioning primary, the preempt option must be configured on the router with the higher priority.
Let's use a two-router HSRP deployment as an example. R2 is the standby, R3 is the primary ("active"), and both have an HSRP priority of 100. Raising R2's priority to 150 does not automatically make it the primary, as shown below.
R2(config)#interface ethernet0
R2(config-if)#standby 5 priority 150
R2#show standby
Ethernet0 - Group 5
Local state is Standby, priority 150
Hellotime 4 sec, holdtime 12 sec Next hello sent in 0.896
Virtual IP address is 172.12.23.10 configured
Active router is 172.12.23.3, priority 100 expires in 8.072
Standby router is local 1 state changes, last state change 00:14:24
R2 now has a higher priority, but R3 is still the active router. R2 will not take over as the HSRP primary until R3 goes down - OR the preempt option is configured on R2.
R2(config-if)#standby 5 priority 150 preempt
1d11h: %STANDBY-6-STATECHANGE: Ethernet0 Group 5 state Standby -> Active
R2#show standby
Ethernet0 - Group 5
Local state is Active, priority 150, may preempt
Hellotime 4 sec, holdtime 12 sec Next hello sent in 1.844
Virtual IP address is 172.12.23.10 configured
Active router is local
Standby router is 172.12.23.3 expires in 10.204
Virtual mac address is 0000.0c07.ac05 2 state changes, last state change 00:00:13

CCNA, CCENT, Network+, And Security+ Practice Questions: TCP, UDP, Smurf Attacks, And More!
by: Chris Bryant, CCIE #12933
Let’s test your knowledge of UDP, TCP, smurf attacks, EIGRP, and more with these questions designed to help you prepare for success on your CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, Network+, and Security+ certification exams!
CCENT Certification / Network+ Certification:
Which of the following protocols runs on both UDP and TCP?
A. DHCP
B. SNMP
C. DNS
D. ARP
E. Inverse ARP
Answer: C. DNS runs on port 53, both on TCP and UDP.
Security+ Certification:
Briefly define the term "smurf attack". (Not too briefly, though!)
Answer: Basically, a smurf attack involves sends ICMP Echo packets (pings) with the intended victim's IP address specified as the source of the Echo packets. This transmission takes the form of a directed broadcast, which means that quite a few hosts can receive it - and then respond with ICMP Echo Replies, which will all be sent to the intended victim.
CCNA Exam:
R1 and R3 are directly connected at their respective Serial1 interfaces via a DTE/DCE cable. What command will tell you whether the interface is connected to the DTE or DCE end of the cable?
Answer: Run show controller serial 1 on either router - the DTE / DCE information is near the top of the output.
CCNP Certification / BSCI Exam:
DUAL has discovered four possible paths to a remote network, with the following metrics: PathA, 1500. PathB, 1500. PathC, 2600. PathD, 3100. What command will allow EIGRP to use the first three paths without using the fourth?
Answer: variance 2 would do the job. Any path with a metric of 3000 or lower will be utilized; setting it to 3 would bring PathD into the equation.
CCNP Certification / BCMSN Exam:
What is the main purpose of IEEE 802.3ac?
Answer: The IEEE 802.3ac standard allows the maximum frame length to be extended to 1522 bytes, which means the dot1q 4-byte header doesn't cause problems in transmission.
CCNP Certification / ONT Exam:
Which queueing strategy gives priority to interactive, low-bandwidth communications by default?

Pointers For Choosing Your Laptop Computer
by: David Burton
Pointers for buying a laptop.
If you're thinking of buying a laptop computer there are undoubtedly some great deals to be found, but what should you be looking for when you're in the market for a updated or even your first laptop computer.
Well, it's always worth sitting down with a pen and paper and thinking about exactly what you need your new laptop computer to do. If you're simply going to use it for word processing and the odd email here and there you don't need the super fast processor and hard drive that can hold thousands of files, so don't let a slick salesman tell you otherwise that’s just going to hurt your pocket.
If it's a family laptop computer you're in the market for you'll want a good all rounder. kidshave a great knack of loading games and other large applications onto a PC without you knowing. which can really effect performance for when you need it for more important things like business or your own games. So make sure you get a good-sized hard drive and a good amount of ram.
Regardless of the type of laptop computer you're in the market for make sure you explain to the salesman exactly what you need it for ( ie is it for the home or on the road). More often than not they'll be able to show you in the right direction, but make sure you only spend an amount you're happy with.
If you're an online shopper then there are some great deals to be found, so just make sure you conduct proper research before jumping in to make that purchase. You'll probably see a lot of adverts for the newest laptop computer on the market , Buying a laptop computer , its just like anything else , make sure you do a good amount of research, be clear about the amount you want to spend and weigh up your options.

Did I Choose The Most Cost Effective Porteble Computer ?
by: David Burton
Did I choose the best laptop ?
Keys to choosing the best laptop computer :
Who is theportable computer user? When choosing a laptop computer, it is important to understand who will be using it.., school student, college student, professional businessman ,office worker, etc.
Where will the laptop be used? For big mobile users such as college students and professionals, size, weight and battery life are very important. So when looking over the reviews and relevant specs, keep those factors in mind. The average high school student uses a laptop from room to room in their house, and have loads of access to AC power most of the time. So for these users, the factors listed above may not be as critical.
How will the laptop be used? The more mobile the user, the more durability is needed. Heavy users ie sales reps spend a great deal of time start and shutting down their laptops every day. an average large user will open and shut their laptop computer 6 times a day. Although that may not seem alot of wear and tear, there is also the issue of general handling. Heavy users will be travelling from location to location, in and out of cars,on and off planes etc on a constant basis. This increases the likelihood of damage to the laptop computer, via dropping, bumping and banging, drink spills on the keyboard, etc....
Should I buy a service contract for my laptop? the answer is YES. When you think about carrying around a fragile piece of electronics costing $1000 or more, the price of a typical service contract is a bargain. for a relatively small price £50 per notebook computer, its worth it to for you peace of mind.
How much should I expect to pay for a laptop? It used to be hard to find a quality laptop under £600; however, this is no longer true. There are several companies with great offers, starting around £300. The options / upgrades you select have a large impact in what you can expect to pay. Having a list of what you want in a computer, such as memory, speed, hard drive size, burners, etc..will help when you go shopping. Although online notebook computer manufacturers allow a great deal of customization, the general public are easily serviced with a “off the shelf” standard notebook computer.
What Laptop Brand Should I Select? the worlds your oyster in this respect with the amount of notebook computer manufactures out there, with different colours and sizes its everyones personal choice , I myself find that toshiba have all the features which service my needs.

Benefits Of One Way Link Building Services
by: Derek Rogers
How can one way link building services help you and your business? In the world of internet marketing you probably already know by now that it is a tough and very competitive world out there. There are millions of websites, literally, and each one of them are trying to get customers just as you are. While not all are trying to get the same customers as you are, they are all trying to get customers. Now, your customer base will be a competitive field as well. You have other competition and they do want the same customers.
What can you do? There is a method called search engine optimization. This method is a host of techniques that work together to boost your ranking on the search engine and get your website noticed by your customer base, people searching for your keyword. Now, the problem is that other websites are trying for good ranking on the same keyword, at the same time. They too are trying to implement a good search engine optimization plan.
One method of search engine optimization is using one way link building services. Google uses many different elements to determine page rank. Links are extremely important to Google and the more links you have pointing to your website the better off you are. However, it is not always as easy as that. One way links are very difficult to get and maintain.
There are certain criteria that need to be met. First, these links must be of high quality. The links cannot be placed on link farms; this can actually hurt your page rank. The higher the quality of the page your link sits on, the better it is for your ranking. The links must also be from different websites. This means that each website your link is on, must come from an IP address different from all of the others.
Furthermore, the links must be permanent and one way. At one point in time, reciprocal links were the most common. You link to an important website and they link back to you. However, now a days more importance is placed on one way links than any other type.
Because this is hard to achieve, you can take many advantages of one way link building services. These services are offered by individuals or companies that are experienced in building one way links. They have access to websites that are high quality and accept one way links. Using these services can get your links on websites with high ranks on Google, which is ultimately important.
Provided that you use one way link building services that are reputable and experienced, you will find that your own rank increases and your customers have a better ability to find you and your services. One way links are just one method of search engine optimization that can help increase your popularity in the search engines and ultimately increase your traffic, sales, and income all at the same time, which is important to any business.

Post Regularly Because...
by: Len Hutton
Keeping people interested in your blog, whether it is a business or personal blog, is key to attracting a lot of regular visitors. Many blogs have died because people have just lost interest. The main reason for the lack of interest is simply a lack of posts by the blogger. Regular, frequent posting, which will boost your blog’s ranking in search engines, is essential to the survival of any blog.
You might be asking yourself, what is frequent posting? How many blog entries should I make on a given week? How do I make frequent consistently good posts? What are the reasons for me to post frequently? In this newsletter, we will go over all of the above.
What is frequent posting?
Frequent blog posting is posting enough to keep your readers interested. Obviously, people will not want to come back to a blog that hasn’t been updated in months. They want to see consistent posting so that they know coming back to check the blog next week to see if there are more posts won’t be a waste of time.
How many blog entries should I make each week?
This is one of the tougher questions to answer. It really depends on the purpose of your blog. If it’s a personal blog, a weekly or twice weekly update is an excellent idea. A political/sports/music/religion blog should have 3-4 posts per week. Business blogs should have at least 2 posts, but preferably 4 each week.
The thing to remember is that quality counts. Posting frequently just for the sake of posting frequently tends to result in subpar posts which people won’t care about. It is important to find a balance—frequent, quality posts that won’t result in burnout on your part. Why create 4 poor quality posts each week when you could post 2 quality posts per week?
How do I create quality postings on a consistent basis?
It’s all about following a consistent pattern of writing. Maybe you’re not a natural writer and this is difficult. That’s why we’ll give you an outline to help you.
1. Pick a topic that is interesting to you and to your readers. Maybe if your blog is a personal blog, you could write about the latest happenings in Hollywood.
2. Carefully think about what you’ll write about the topic. It makes it easy to make quality blog postings if you know exactly what you’ll write. Plot out everything about the post before even beginning to write it.
3. Before writing your content, pick out some keywords that are relevant to your blog. If you naturally use keywords throughout your post, you will please search engine spiders which will get your blog ranked higher on search engines. Your visitors won’t mind the use of keywords if they are used in a tasteful way.
4. Begin writing your post. Don’t limit yourself to a particular amount of words. Just do what’s natural. And if any blog post is hard for you, just take a timeout and relax. You should be able to finish the post a bit later on, after you’ve had some time to think things through, you should be able to finish the post with no problems.
Why is frequent posting important?
Blogs are meant to be outlets for individuals or businesses. They are used to get an opinion out on something and to engage readers. Readers need to have something that makes them want to keep coming back to a blog. That something is usually quality, frequent posts.
Gaining and maintaining visitors isn’t the only reason to post often in your blog. Catching the eye of a search engine—and achieving a high ranking—is another valid reason for posting frequently. Most likely, each posting in your blog features some keywords or keyword phrases scattered throughout it. Logic says that the more natural keywords you have on a blog, the better. Thus, the more posts you make on your blog, the more keywords you have on there. And the more keywords you have, the more likely a search engine bot is to crawl your site. The more your site is crawled by bots, the more likely it is that you will have a high ranking on a search engine.
Frequent blog posting can be easy as long as the person who is posting takes the time to plot out what they’ll write about. So take a few minutes to think about your post and then just do it!

Stop Blog Spammers
by: Len Hutton
Blogs are now an extremely popular and important part of the internet. Millions of people blog every day. As blogs have evolved over the years, so has the commenting system. Now anyone can make comments on a particular blog posting. As blog commenting has grown more popular, so has spam commenting. In this newsletter, we’ll go over why comments are a great form of feedback for your blog, how they help the credibility of your content, what spam comments are and how to prevent them from happening.
Comments – A great form of feedback
When blogs first came around, they were simply online journals. No one could post comments on a blog posting. That all changed in 1998 with OpenDiary, a site which allowed people to comment on blog postings. Now every blog, whether it is remotely or self-hosted, includes this option to comment.
Commenting is great because it allows real people to tell you what they think about your form. It gives you feedback on what you are doing right and what you may need to improve. Comments can be encouraging to you and motivate you to post more quality blog messages. Or they can be constructive criticism to make you work harder to get better at writing content.
Whatever the style of comment is, it is still very useful to your blog. High numbers of comments have the ability to make a blog look credible because they show that the blog is being read by a lot of people. That’s something that every blog owner wants, and comments help to let them know just how many people enjoy their content.
Bad comments
Unfortunately, spammers have now started to use comments as a way to spam. How do you know what a spam comment is? Well, a spam comment is a comment that only advertises another site or product. If the comment seems bland/generic with a cheap link thrown in, then it’s definitely a spam comment.
Here is an example of a typical spam comment:
“Hey, this site is really cool. Check out my really cool site at spamsite.com.”
Of course not all spam comments will be this blatant, but you get the point.
Fortunately for bloggers, as spam comments have grown, so has the ways to prevent it. Here are a couple ways that you can prevent spam comments from even being posted on your blog.
#1: Close off commenting on older blog posts
There are options for you to stop comments from being posted on any particular blog post. Lots of times, spammers will post comments in weeks or months old posts. So take away this opportunity from them to keep it from happening. Most blog hosters now offer this as a standard option in the tool panel. If one of your posts has been up for a couple weeks, close it up.
#2: Take advantage of software offered to prevent comment spam
If you host your own blog using WordPress, you can use an option in that software to prevent spam. Even if you aren’t using WordPress, you can still use other Spam comment blocking software like Spam Karma, Akismet, and Bad Behavior. While these aren’t 100% effective, they have proven to be quite effective in preventing spam from happening.
#3: Take a look at your settings and see what can be tweaked to toughen your protection
Lots of blogs now have settings to help prevent spam. If you already have a spam blocker on in your blog and are still experiencing spam, take a closer look at the settings to see if there’s anything that can be tweaked to make your protection stronger. However, if you do this, you should closely monitor your posts to make sure legit comments aren’t being blocked out. If they are, you might have to lighten up a bit.
#4: Regularly read your blog comments
Be sure to keep an eye on your comments. Even the best software or setting can’t prevent everything, so you will have to occasionally manually remove comments on your own.
By applying the above principles, you can ensure that your blog is full of only good, quality comments, which will help your credibility tremendously.

Cashing in by Blogging
by: Len Hutton
Believe it or not, but it’s actually possible to make money from blogging. One teenager has, in fact, earned $5,000 a month just from making posts on his blog! Of course, not every blogger is this lucky. It does take some skill, and some luck to make money from blogging. What it also takes is some knowledge of how exactly to generate income just by posting blogs. In this newsletter, we will go over three specific methods of making money on your blog: Adsense, Pay Per Lead, and Affiliate Links.
So how exactly do I make money on my blog?
You do it by working with another company that wants to use your blog as a form of advertising. It sounds like selling out, right? Not exactly. The advertising can be as in your face or subtle as you want. And it can still make you money, provided you have enough visitors to your blog.
What is Adsense?
Adsense is a program offered by Google. The program, if installed, will display ads provided by Google.
How do I get Adsense?
You’ll need to go to Google.com, first. At the bottom of the screen is a link for “Advertising Programs”. Click on that. Then click on the link for “Adsense”. Scroll down on the page that comes up and click “Click Here To Apply!” You then fill out the form with information about yourself. After 12-48 hours, Google will notify you via email whether or not your site has been accepted. When you’ve been accepted, set up your ads by doing either of the following:
1. If your blog is hosted on Blogger.com, you can set up your AdSense ads by going to your profile, selecting settings>template>add an element. Then select AdSense and login with your account info. Next, you’ll configure your ads and save the template. That’s it.
2. If you are self-hosting your blog, you’ll have to set up AdSense in more of a manual way. You’ll create your ads(which can be as small or as tall as you want) and then copy the HTML/Javascript code Google gives you. Then you’ll paste it into your blog(on the left, right, or top of the screen).
For the first few days, the ads displayed by Google will be Public Service Announcements. After the ads have been up a few days, though, the ads will switch to ads that are relevant to your blog.
How does Adsense work?
Every time a visitor clicks an Adsense ad, you get a little bit of money(usually around 30-60 cents). The amount you get for each ad clicked depends on the number of unique visitors you receive on your blog. The more visitors, the more money that can be earned.
Google will then send a check or pay you through Paypal once you’ve made at least $100 from the ads.
It is important to remember that Google will penalize you if you click your own ads, or if you ask visitors specifically to click ads. So don’t do that!
Pay Per Click
Pay Per Click is basically just like AdSense, except you don’t just work with Google—you work with multiple companies. BidVertiser is one such company you can sign up with to do Pay Per Click advertising.
How do I get Pay Per Click
You sign up with a site like Bidvertiser and then follow their instructions to set up the Pay Per Click ads on your site.
How does Pay Per Click work?
It works by paying you money each time someone clicks an ad that you display. You won’t get paid for multiple clicks from the same user in the same visitor, nor will you get paid for someone simply visiting your site. You only get paid for legitimate clicks.
Affiliate Links
Affiliate links are basically links which people pay you for. Companies will actually pay owners of popular blogs to post links on their blog. You can do as much Affiliate linking as you want.
How do I get Affiliate Links?
You can get Affiliate links by searching for “Affiliate Link Programs” on the internet. Once you find an Affiliate link program that looks good to you, sign up for it. Then you can follow their instructions for putting the link(s) on your blog.
How do Affiliate Links work?
Like the other two methods mentioned above, Affiliate links work by paying you money each time they are clicked. You get paid for each click per unique visitor.
So that’s it. There’s three legitimate ways to make money from blogging. It is important to keep in mind that the amount of money you are able to make depends on how many visitors your blog draws. If you draw a lot, you’ll make a lot. If not, the money you earn will be modest. But it’s still extra money, so why not do it?
Making money using Adsense, Pay Per Click or Affiliate Link programs is easy and effective. Start monetizing your blog today!

Affiliate links are basically links which people pay you for. Companies will actually pay owners of popular blogs to post links on their blog. You can do as much Affiliate linking as you want.

You can get Affiliate links by searching for “Affiliate Link Programs” on the internet. Once you find an Affiliate link program that looks good to you, sign up for it. Then you can follow their instructions for putting the link(s) on your blog.

Guide to Your Success on Network Marketing Business
by: Tsuyoshi Suzuki
Network marketing opportunity is a big decision. But how do you choose which network marketing opportunity is the right one for you. Network marketing has gotten a bad reputation because of the abundance of scams and illegal Ponzi schemes out there, but a network marketing opportunity is not necessarily bad.
Our recommended network marketing opportunity is about health product. Essentially a network marketing opportunity is a seed for growth and financial freedom. These are simple strategies and tools you can use to research if the network marketing opportunity is worth your time and money.
Marketing
I think it's fair to say that most of us have at one time or another been introduced to network marketing by friends, family, or even complete strangers. Of course, anyone who has joined a network marketing opportunity knows it isn't quite that easy. But this doesn't necessarily mean that network marketing is a scam either. While this may be true with a lot of other things, it is not necessarily so with network marketing. The success of your network marketing business depends greatly on your ability to keep your downline members active and to train them to recruit and keep their downline active as well.
Opportunity
The first and most important thing to look out for is to make sure the opportunity your interested in is a legitimate one and not a pyramid scheme. It is easy to believe that because an income opportunity is low cost it must not work, and if it is expensive than it must make you money. Some said the more expensive an opportunity is, the harder it is going to be to get people involved.
It can be really exciting when you first join a network marketing opportunity. The bottom line is that the better you know yourself, the better job you can do of determining which network marketing opportunity is best for you. Your simple system has to have a plan to expose hundreds and maybe even thousands of people over a few years to the business opportunity while you look for business builders that want to work at it.
Conclusion
If your prime motivation for joining a Network Marketing opportunity is to make cash then you will not be a success with Multilevel Marketing. The real question to ask when presented with a network marketing opportunity is: Is there a simple duplicatable system is available to help sponsor and train.
I AM NOT going to tell you how to get rich quick or tell you how this network marketing opportunity is an easy way to earn money. But my advice to anyone looking into a network marketing opportunity is to check it out thoroughly before making a decision. For more information about Network Marketing, make sure you follow the link in the recourse box below now.

Income can only be considered truly residual if you can go on vacation for an extended period of time and still get paid. The best part of these businesses is that even after exiting the business; you will continue to receive residual income and the applicable tax benefits.
Opportunity
Network Marketing is an equal opportunity business. In order to find a company that provides a product and an opportunity that you believe it, you must first know yourself. You cannot fool your friends and family by sharing a product or business opportunity that you don't believe in yourself. There are also some network marketers who do not think about targeted advertising, and instead try to sell their products or their business opportunity to anyone who breathes, regardless of whether they want to hear about it. With Network Marketing, the window of opportunity is open to anyone willing to make the commitment. And in modern day home office technologies offer a wealth of opportunity for military spouses to launch online businesses that can be operated from virtually anywhere. This is why the educational system inherent in a good network marketing opportunity is so important.

Another fear that keeps people from starting a network marketing business is that they feel they do not know enough about business to successfully run their own. You can start your Network Marketing business on a part-time basis without giving up your current source of income until your Network Marketing business is generating the income you require. If you work hard you can make significant amounts of money every month once your network marketing business is on track.

Network marketing opportunity is a big decision. The main need for training is that a network marketing business is unlike most other businesses out there. Income

You can start your Network Marketing business on a part-time basis without giving up your current source of income until your Network Marketing business is generating the income you require. How Does Internet Marketing Work?
by: Tsuyoshi Suzuki
Introduction
Internet marketing is a component of electronic commerce. Internet marketing is by far the fastest growing advertising method for all companies in this day and age. Internet marketing is about people knowing each others interests, values and preferences. Internet marketing is becoming one of the highest return-on-the-investment strategies these days.
Engine
For the most effective Internet marketing, you'll want to make sure your site is listed in the following search engines and directories:DMOZ. What I can't emphasize enough is that you take the time to find the right search engine submission category, and if your business is regional or local, make sure you submit there instead of the main areas. Also be sure to read the search engine submission guidelines carefully. If after a few months you find that your site is still not listed in the search engines, go through the search engine submission process again. Effective Internet marketing Effective Internet marketing starts with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and is comprised of optimizing the content, specific keywords, and over all design of your web site in order to ensure that your site attains maximum exposure to search engines. Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other major search engines use search engine software known as robots. Once a site is submitted to the search engine, the robots, also often known as search engine crawlers or search engine spiders, analyze the content of a site as well as other search engine criteria such as the accuracy of the website coding (ie: clean coding) to establish content relevance and overall website relevance.
Site
Internet marketing does not simply mean 'building a website' or 'promoting a website'. Somewhere behind that website is a real organization with real goals. Internet marketing strategy includes all aspects of online advertising products, services, and websites, including search engine marketing, public relations, social media, market research, email marketing, and direct sales. These include e-commerce, where you sell goods directly to consumers or businesses; publishing, where you sell advertising; and lead-based sites, where an organization generates value by getting sales leads from their site. At one time, Internet marketing consisted mostly of having a Web site or placing banner ads on other Web sites. Since most home-based businesses don't have a physical location, a Web site provides an inexpensive means for prospects to get to know what you do or what you sell and can even be a "storefront" for selling goods and services directly.
Conclusion
Internet marketing is any legal activity intended to bring traffic from a search portal to another Website. Internet marketing is becoming one of the highest return-on-the-investment strategies these days. The decision to use Internet marketing as part of a company's overall marketing strategy is strictly up to the company of course, but as a rule, Internet marketing is becoming an increasingly important part of nearly every company's marketing mix. That's why Internet marketing is all about networking and communication.

MLM System
by: Tsuyoshi Suzuki
Introduction
Multi Level Marketing is a 60 billion dollar a year industry and provides a ready-made business structure including product support andservicesand it's is a people-to-people business. MLM or Multi Level marketing is a way for the average person, who is teachable, and who has desire and perseverance, to earn extra income from the sanctuary of their home. In fact the concept of MLM is no longer new. For those who may be looking for a few extra hundred or even a thousand a month and don't have the time to work another full time job, This is the best way to earn that money without a huge risk or large investments. To break it all down Multi Level Marketing is a process in which you share information while developing long term relationships.
Product
Products are sold through a network of distributors or salespersons setup to resemble a pyramid: each distributor recruits and trainsadditional distributors and will earn commissions on their sales, aswell as on the sales he or she makes. Products that are attractive to a specific segment of the population, ora particular interest group. Products are sold by individual distributors, rather than out of ashop or store. A common MLM product is some sort of panacea, such as a vitamin or mineral supplement. You could do what most businesses do: either sell it directly to consumers or find others who will buy your product from you and sell it to other people.
This system is system of marketing which puts more emphasis upon the recruiting of distributors than on the selling of products. For every MLM distributor who makes a decent living or even a decent supplemental income, there are at least ten who do little more than buy products and promotional materials, costing them much more than they will ever earn as an MLM agent. At the turn of the century, the average Amway distributor earned about $700 a year in sales, but spent about $1,000 a year on Amway products. You get to buy products, some of which you will be happy with. However, many do continue as happy customers (assuming, as in my own case, that the products have high value). And many enjoy getting some commissions for sales to people they have referred, who became customers, so they can make back or reduce the cost of their products. " In fact, network marketing is a part of the direct sales industry, which includes many types of commission sales businesses in whichproducts are sold directly to customers through distributors who earn commissions on those sales.
System
Multi-level marketing is a system of selling in which you sign up other people to assist you, and they, in turn, recruit others to help them. It is an enterprise system which puts emphasis on recruiting distributors. You need an internet mlm prospecting system. You are 'invited' into the system by a trusted. For the predators behind the system,it was a dream come true. This is a system where people make money by getting other people to become "distributors" for a product. Their only purpose was to raise money and cash in before that system fell apart. The beauty of MLM is that it's a marketing system used by many different types of businesses so, if MLM?s where you want to go, you need only choose a business and an industry that excites you and the potential for your future suddenly explodes. Residual income can happen with this system, but it takes time, and for many of the financially desperate people that enter such schemes, that is time they can't afford to wait on. Often times these systems of selling and/or recruiting are very simple, because it is always important to create a duplicable system that others can easily mirror and follow.
Conclusion
Multi Level Marketing is the opportunity of the new millennium. It is the ideal home business venture for the entrepreneur and the regular person. For those who may be looking for a few extra hundred or even a thousand a month and don't have the time to work another full time job, This system is the best way to earn that money without a huge risk or large investments. The fact of the matter is that Multi Level Marketing is quite easy to understand; it is exactly what it sounds like. The best way to get started in Multi Level Marketing is by making yourself accessible to a large amount of people. If you do not know what MLM is there is no reason to give up.

Why MLM?
by: Tsuyoshi Suzuki
Multi Level Marketing is a venerable and legitimate way of doing business in the modern world. Multi Level Marketing is a system which is slightly better than working for someone and being a salesman. This system uses independent distributors and allowing these distributors to build and manage their own sales force by recruiting, motivating, supplying, and training others to sell products.
Essentially the concept of network marketing and multi level marketing is that you will have yourself, plus the people below you, plus several levels of the people below those people, hence the term, “multi-level” and there will essentially be multiple levels of commission coming from those people’s sales. MLM or Multi Level marketing is a way for the average person, who is teachable, and who has desire and perseverance, to earn extra income from the sanctuary of their home.
In fact the concept of Multi level Marketing is no longer new and you can find the easiest and most convenient source to locating legal industry multi level marketing that is the Internet.
Multi
Multi-Level marketing is based on the downline(s) you have. Multi-level marketing, on the other hand, is a type of tiered system and it is a way to sell goods or services through distributors. This system is very attractive because it offers wealth and independence for a relatively small up front cost.
Level
In a multi-level structure, you can also build and manage your own sales force by recruiting, motivating, supplying and training others to sell those products. This opportunity has made multi-level marketing an attractive way of starting a business with comparatively little money. It actually just like other methods of retailing depends on selling to consumers and establishing a market for repeat business but the start-up cost in a multi-level is generally smaller than other businesses.
Marketing
Marketing is about getting paid for sending website traffic and referral customers. A legitimate multi-level marketing company emphasizes reliable products or services. This business type is a type of business where a distributor receives commissions on their own sales as well as the sales of people the distributor recruits. One way to quickly set up a new business is to market products and services from a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) or network marketing. I very much believe in Network Marketing, but only if you’ve got the mindset to succeed, and time to dedicate frequently to your business.
For the people like you who are committed to living your dream Multi Level Marketing is a great way to make this possible. Even though the failure rate with multi level marketing is very high, but it does not mean that you cannot make it successful!!

by: Tsuyoshi Suzuki
Introduction
Network marketing opportunity is a big decision. But how do you choose which network marketing opportunity is the right one for you. Basically, what a network marketing opportunity is nothing more than direct selling. Is the general impression left that the network marketing opportunity is largely about selling the network marketing opportunity to new participants with an emphasis on recruiting or acquiring new participants and selling them the product, rather than having as a primary purpose the sale of the product to non-participants who remain non-participants?
Start
Many companies also offer incentives such as fast start bonuses which can really jumpstart your earnings. Your full of energy, motivated about the product, and eager to get started. But you really should give yourself at least six months and some sales before you start calling the family tree. What do you get in return for your start up investment, other then the potential to earn good money? If you want to, you can start your own company any time you want.

Ask yourself if it is something that you can use and sell outside of the program. If the product is only useful in recruiting others into the program than you should probably stay away from it. Try to avoid programs that force you to go wide on your first level, or who don't reward you for going deep. The average network marketer only recruits two to four people, so you will want an opportunity that allows your downline to go deep which will make it easier for everyone and may help people from quitting the program. Effective Internet Advertising
by: Tsuyoshi Suzuki
Free internet advertising is one very important method for promoting your products and services to thousands of free ads. You've probably found this article because you did a search for "free advertising" on an internet search engine. If you have taken the time to research search engine placement, methods of obtaining a high search engine ranking, or Internet advertising, you have probably heard of Google Adwords.
Two of the most popular and successful advertising techniques on the Internet are pay per click campaigns and natural search engine optimization campaigns. If your company is not competing at the level it should be, perhaps it is time you looked into focusing more of your time and efforts into Internet advertising techniques that are successful. You will not only get the best results with a carefully designed system for generating Internet advertising for your blog, but you will also be able to sustain good results over a long period of time, which is what serious business and successful entrepreneurship is all about.
With a good well designed selling system in place, not only will you be able to get the best results while generating Internet advertising for your blog, but success will be virtually guaranteed. This difference with blog advertising rates is important because in the print media world, ad rates can not go below a certain point because if they do, the publication will cease to be profitable. In the print media, space is limited by the cost of production which keeps ad rates high and makes the balance of content versus advertising critical to the financial success of any print publication that relies on advertising.
Free internet advertising makes it easy for you to put free ads on several of the premier quality web sites whenever you want, for free. You know that you are visiting the forum merely for the free advertising for your website but it is better not to make this obvious if you want other members to react well to your advertising. Internet forum etiquette demands that you spend a little time "lurking" ie logging in at the forum and reading previous and current threads before you even think of starting to use the forum for advertising.
Whether you write your own articles or pay a ghostwriter to write your articles for you, the combined cost of creating and distributing your article is far less than the value of advertising that you will receive in exchange for the reprint use of your article. When you write articles that are consistent with the topics that your potential clientele will read, you are able to consistently target the people you need to reach with your advertising. If an advertiser is already paying 20 cents per click and your blog Internet advertising rate card charges them what works out to about 5 cents per click and there is a promise of the same or an even better conversion rate, you have won over that advertiser.
I have been paying for traffic and one of the best sources of targeted traffic is through pay per click search engines (PPC) or pay for placement search alternatives like Google adwords or Yahoo Sponsor Listings, formerly Overture. Google adwords and Yahoo Sponsor Listings are the kings of pay per placement search engines. And if you are in a highly competitive niche, the cost per visitor in pay per click search engines is pumping up day by day.
